Germany’s new electric car sales quadruple in October
Electric car sales in Germany quadrupled to a new record in October compared to the same month in 2019, as incentives give the market a further boost, Kallanish reports.
According to the German automotive industry association VDA, new registrations of electric vehicles (EVs) exceeded the previous month’s record with a 303% increase to 48,039. EVs accounted for 18% of total German car sales in October.
