GRAPHENE: Gerdau opens graphene business in Brazil
Brazilian steelmaker Gerdau has launched a new company focused on the development and sale of graphene products. The unit will operate independently from the steel business divisions, Kallanish notes.
Gerdau Graphene aims to become reference in the segment in Brazil, while also reaching global markets, the steelmaker says. Production will be destined to construction, industrial and automotive sectors in Brazil and North America.
