French HDF starts construction of fuel cell plant
Engineering company Hydrogène de France (HDF) has started construction of its high-power hydrogen fuel cells assembly plant in Blanquefort, in the area of Bordeaux.
The plant, scheduled to start production in 2024, is a large-scale facility with an initial capacity of 1.5 megawatts per year but with the ability to increase capacity to 10 MW as demand builds up. About 80% of the production will be destined for the export market, catering to customers in the …
