French EV sales fall
France’s electric vehicle (EV) sales decreased on-year in January, Kallanish finds.
According to the latest figures published by France’s Comité des Constructeurs Français d’Automobiles (CCFA), the country issued 6,469 new EVs registrations last month, almost half compared to 10,952 of January 2020.
EV market share last month was only 5.1% against 8.2% in January 2020 and 13% in December 2020, CCFA says.
