Fortescue FIDs two new green hydrogen projects
Australian mining and green energy company Fortescue announced Tuesday it has approved two new green hydrogen projects, worth around $700 million, Kallanish reports.
The company’s board approved a financial investment decision (FID) for the Phoenix Hydrogen Hub in Arizona, US and the Gladstone project in Queensland, Australia. It has also approved $50m for the Christmas Creek green iron trial commercial plant in Western Australia.
