Australia's Firetail completes drilling at Mt Slopeaway project
Australian miner Firetail Resources has completed a reverse circulation (RC) drilling programme at its Mt Slopeaway nickel-cobalt project in central Queensland, Australia, Kallanish reports.
The campaign included four historical drill holes completed in the 1960s by BHP. These historic holes were selected for twin hole drilling with the intent to confirm the JORC 2012 inferred mineral resource of 4 million tonnes at 1% nickel, 0.2% cobalt, 1% manganese.
