Federal Signal buys Ground Force to expand battery mineral presence
Oak Brook, Illinois-based heavy equipment producer Federal Signal Corporation has bought material-handling vehicle producer Ground Force Worldwide to capture a chunk of the growing power materials market, Kallanish learns from a company statement.
The $45 million cash deal will give Federal Signal substantially all of the assets and operations of Post Falls, Idaho-based Ground Force.
Over the past year, Ground Force posted revenue of about $34m.
