FAW to join Nio's battery swapping alliance
Chinese smart EV company Nio is said to be welcoming legacy carmaker FAW Group as the latest company to join its battery swap alliance, Kallanish understands.
Local media reports suggest that FAW will become the seventh carmaker to use Nio’s battery-swapping station network. If confirmed, the deal will come a few days after the agreement between Nio and GAC’s EV brand Aion. The latter has also inked a swap agreement with CATL.
