NICKEL: Fatal accident won’t harm Nornickel’s output
Nickel production at Russian’s Nornickel won’t be affected by the fatal accident last week at its Norilsk Concentrator Plant, the company says.
The building of the ore transfer point and the adjoining pedestrian gallery collapsed on 19 February during repair work to strengthen the structure of the building. As a result of the incident, three people were killed, three more were injured.
