Exro, Linamar to jointly develop electric drivetrain
Exro Technologies Inc and Linamar have inked a strategic development agreement to create advanced electric drivetrains, Kallanish learns from a joint announcement.
The companies will jointly develop a so-called eAxle, using Linamar’s axle technology and the so-called Coil Driver tech from Exro. The eAxle can be used in either pure electric or fuel cell vehicles.
Prototype testing is expected to wrap up in 2022.
