Evlomo, Rojana plan 8-GWh battery factory in Thailand
US-based Evlomo Incorporated is planning to build an 8-gigawatt-hour battery gigafactory in Thailand in partnership with Rojana Industrial Park Public, Kallanish reports.
Under the ambitious project announced by Evlomo in a release, the companies will invest $1.06 billion through a new joint venture 55% owned by Rojana, and 45% by Evlomo. Investment at Phase 1 targeting 1 GWh capacity stands at $143 million.
