EU BEV penetration drops to 14.4% in June
The European Union’s battery electric car market share dropped in June to 14.4% from 15.1% a year before, Kallanish reports.
According to the data from the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA), the bloc registered 156,408 BEVs in the month. While countries such as Belgium and Italy reported significant growth in registrations, they were not enough to offset the declines in top markets such as Germany, the Netherlands, and France.
