EU approves €1.2 billion Spanish H2 subsidy scheme
The European Commission (EC) has approved a €1.2 billion ($1.3 billion) Spanish scheme to support the production of renewable hydrogen, Kallanish reports.
Approved under the state aid Temporary Crisis and Transition Framework (TCTF), the scheme will offer direct grants to cover the investment costs of setting up renewable hydrogen clusters or valleys, with an installed capacity of at least 100 megawatts.
