Eramet Suez to build battery recycling plant in France
French miner Eramet this year will implement studies to industrialise its lithium-ion battery recycling project with its partner Suez. The two companies are selecting a location for the construction of a battery recycling plant in France in 2024, Kallanish learns from Eramet.
The plant will produce a metal concentrate of nickel, cobalt, manganese, lithium and graphite called black mass for hydrometallurgical refining.
