MANGANESE: Eramet signs manganese supply deal with BaoWu
French miner Eramet has signed a framework agreement with Chinese steel producer BaoWu for the sale of manganese ore in 2021 to Baosteel Resources, the trading arm of BaoWu, Kallanish learns from Eramet. The manganese ore will be sold from Eramet’s subsidiary Comilog in Gabon.
This agreement brings the contractual commitment of the five largest Chinese customers to around 1.5 million tonnes in 2021.
