Enjie significantly reduces investment in US separator project
Chinese lithium battery separator giant SEMCorp (Enjie) has decided to reduce the investment in its lithium battery separator project in Sidney, Ohio in the USA from $916 million to $276m, Kallanish learns.
The target annual production capacity is to be reduced accordingly from 1-1.2 billion square metres to 700m square metres.
The project company, the location and the source of the investment remain unchanged.
