Enel to build wind, storage plant in Texas
Enel Green Power has started construction of a plant in Throckmorton County, Texas, that will integrate wind and battery storage. The new investment is part of the project Azure Sky wind + storage, Kallanish learns from a company representative.
Enel will sell the Kellogg Company 360 gigawatt-hours annually and deliver the rest of the electricity produced to the grid. The two companies signed a 100 megawatt virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA).
