Enel, Siemens, partners start Chile’s green hydrogen pilot
Enel Green Power Chile, Siemens Energy and partners have broken ground on the Haru Ori green hydrogen pilot project in Chile, Kallanish reports.
The project is described as the “world’s first integrated, commercial, industrial-scale plant for making synthetic climate-neutral fuels.” It consists of a 3.4-megawatt wind turbine powering a 1.2-MW electrolyser to produce green hydrogen, which will be tested by Porsche as an "e-Fuel."
