Enel, Saras to develop green hydrogen
Italy’s energy company Enel Green Power and oil refiner Saras signed a memorandum of intent to develop a green hydrogen project in Sardinia, Kallanish reports.
The solution being studied involves using a 20-megawatt electrolyser powered by renewable energy produced onsite. The green hydrogen will be used as a raw material in Saras refinery at the Sarroch industrial site in the province of Cagliari.
