Electra Battery Materials offers updates on cobalt refinery, battery recycling
Electra Battery Materials says it is making continued progress on its refurbished and expanded cobalt refinery in Ontario that should begin operations in spring 2023, Kallanish reports.
The Ontario-based company also notes that it intends to launch its battery recycling demonstration plant at the Ontario refinery this fall.
“Electra continues to build momentum,” says ceo Trent Mell in a company update.
