EKPO secures €177m German grant for fuel cells stacks
Germany’s EKPO Fuel Cell Technologies has secured government funding of up to €177 million ($193m) to expand its product portfolio, Kallanish reports.
The funding will be provided by the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport and the Ministry of the Environment of the state of Baden-Württemberg as part of the European IPCEI Hydrogen programme. The funding scheme focuses on developing a value chain for renewable hydrogen at low costs.
