EcoPro to expand global capacity to 706,000 t/y in 2027
South Korean cathode material manufacturer EcoPro BM is planning to expand its global production capacity to 706,000 tonnes in 2027, Kallanish learns at the 9th Battery Summit in Tokyo.
According to EcoPro’s marketing director, Jay Yang, EcoPro plans to meet 33% of its precursor cathode active material (pCAM) and 26% of its lithium needs from in-house supply.
