DOE, Xcel aim to produce hydrogen at nuclear plant
Minnesota-based Xcel Energy and the Department of Energy’s Idaho National Laboratory are teaming up to demonstrate a system that uses a nuclear power plant’s steam and electricity to split water to produce hydrogen, Kallanish reports.
