DOE funds green hydrogen storage project in Colorado
The US Department of Energy is providing $1.7 million to deploy German-based GKN Hydrogen’s green hydrogen storage subsystem at a federal research facility in Colorado, Kallanish reports.
The project will be located on the Flatirons campus of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory near Boulder, Colorado. California-based Southern California Gas Co provided an additional $400,000 for the pilot project.
