CTL applies for new exploration licenses in Chile
US-based CleanTech Lithium (CTL) says it has submitted 119 licence applications within the Pampa del Tamarugal basin in northern Chile. The area of the Llamara salar is approximately 600 km north of the company's current projects, Kallanish notes.
The licences, which cover a 4-year exploration period, require minimal financial and work commitments over the next 18 months and cost less than $100,000 to obtain, CTL explains.
