COPPER: Sierra Metals discovers new oxide zone at Peru mine
Canada-based Sierra Metals reports that new zones of high-grade polymetallic ore have been confirmed at its Yauricocha Mine in Peru, Kallanish reports.
To date, 21 drill holes have been completed in an area between the Cachi Cachi and Esperanza zones along the Yauricocha Fault. The holes have intercepted oxide mineralisation containing high-grade copper, gold, silver, zinc and lead. The highest copper levels found were 15.48% copper equivalent.
