COPPER: Lundin Mining completes repairs at Chapada Mine
Canada's Lundin Mining says its Chapada copper-gold mine in northern Brazil has returned to full production, Kallanish reports.
That was achieved with the installation of the remaining repaired motor on the processing plant’s ball mill on 20 December, the company says in an update. The plant had been operating at about 35% capacity, after an electrical failure on 27 September had damaged the four grinding and ball mill motors at the facility.
