COPPER: Hudbay releases favourable PEA on Nevada copper project
A preliminary economic assessment for Hudbay Minerals’ Mason copper-molybdenum porphyry project in Nevada indicates that the planned open-pit mine could more than double the company’s current copper production, Kallanish reports.
Mason in west-central Nevada in the Yerington District is expected to become the third largest copper mine in the US with a life span of 27 years, if developed.
