COPPER: Hannan Metals reports Ucayali discovery in Peru
Canada-based Hannan Metals reports a copper-gold porphyry discovery at its Ucayali project in central Peru with float samples up to 25.6% copper, Kallanish reports.
The project area covers 906 square kilometres and the initial exploration focused on two areas: Previsto and Belen that are about 20 km apart. Stream sediment and float sampling work was conducted along with subsequent spectral analysis to identify prospective copper-gold mineralisation.
