COPPER: Freeport copper production jumps in Q2
US-based Freeport-McMoRan (FCX) saw its copper production and sales improve year-on-year in the second quarter, Kallanish learns from the company's latest earnings report.
Q2 total output reached 913 million pounds or 19% higher y-o-y. Production from the seven open-pit copper mines in North America was 2.2% less y-o-y to 360m lb.
