COPPER: Endangered plant may impact stalled Arizona mine
A planned copper mine in southern Arizona may face a new threat: a plant with yellow flowers that has been designated a federal endangered species, Kallanish reports.
The US Fish and Wildlife Service has officially designated the beardless chinchweed under the federal Endangered Species Act.
