COPPER, COBALT: Power Metal Resources gets production license in DRC
London-listed junior miner Power Metal Resources has obtained a 25-year production license for its Kisinka copper-cobalt project in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The project, located around 30 kilometres east of Lubumbashi in the southern part of the Katangan copperbelt, is 70% owned by Power Metal. The company is seeking to secure a major metal discovery without its license group helping to confirm the Lubumbashi region as a new copper-cobalt district.
