COPPER: Bank of America lifts 2021 copper forecast price
Global copper prices are expected to continue to rise in 2021, according to a Bank of America Global Research report.
The bank identifies three main drivers for growth - economic stimulus, reflation, and a general economic global rebound. As a result, its price forecast for copper has risen to an average of $9,500/tonne in the fourth quarter “with the market likely flipping into a deficit, as inventories are low.”
