Consortium secures funding for world’s largest PEM electrolyser
UK’s electrolyser manufacturer ITM Power confirmed on Friday the consortium developing the Refhyne II PEM electrolyser in Germany has secured a €32.4 million ($37.47m) grant, Kallanish reports.
The funding awarded by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environmental Executive Agency (CINEA) will support the construction of a 100-megawatt electrolyser. The plant will be located at Shell’s Energy and Chemicals Park Rheinland, near Cologne.
