COBALT: Pengxin begins cobalt hydroxide production in DRC
Chinese mining company Pengxin Resources is announcing that its cobalt hydroxide production project has begun commercial operations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kallanish reports.
The company started production of the project’s first phase with a designed capacity of 3,000 tonnes/year of cobalt metal equivalent on 18 December, after trial production had been completed, the company says.
