COBALT: Electra Battery Materials gets key permit for Ontario refinery
Electra Battery Materials Corp has received a key permit for its recommissioned and expanded hydrometallurgical refinery in northern Ontario, Kallanish reports.
The company got an industrial sewage works permit that governs process water and tailings from an Ontario agency, and the company has also filed its final closure plan for its refinery expansion project with Ontario regulators. The closure plan is under a 45-day public review.
