Chinese state EV charging network surpasses 1 million stations
China’s electric vehicle (EV) charging network has surpassed 1 million charging points, according to state-owned utility company State Grid Corporation.
State Grid says that over 1.03 million charging stations have been connected to its Smart Vehicle Networking platform, which is to be further expanded through the installation of another 300,000 charging points. The network covers 29 provinces, 273 cities and 5.5m EV drivers in China, Kallanish learns.
