Chinese BEV market dwarfs West European sales
Chinese new battery electric vehicles (BEVs) sales are dwarfing corresponding sales in the 18-market Western Europe region, Schmidt Automotive Research said Monday.
According to monthly data from the German company, 886,000 new BEVs were sold in Western Europe between January and October this year. This is already higher than the entire 2020 BEV sales for the region, but much less than the 1.98 million BEVs entering Chinese roads, Kallanish learns.
