NICKEL: China’s nickel ore imports grow steadily
China’s nickel ore imports rose 14.83% on-month and 118.85% on-year to 3.68 million tonnes in May, revealing steady growth for the fifth consecutive month, Kallanish notes.
According to the General Administration of Customs, total nickel ore imports in January to May were 11.64m t, up 30.13% year-on-year.
