China’s NEV penetration rate to exceed 40% in 2024
China’s new energy vehicle (NEV) penetration rate is expected to surpass 40% in 2024, Kallanish learns from China Automotive Technology and Research Centre (CATARC).
According to Chen Chuan, director of CATARC’s data department, in 2024, the new energy passenger car sales volume is expected to reach 9.68 million units, a growth rate of 29.9% on-year and a penetration rate of 43%.
