China’s Aulton New Energy opens EV battery swapping station in Shanghai
China’s Aulton New Energy has launched its first electric vehicle battery swapping station in Shanghai, which is able to perform 1,000 operations per day, Kallanish reports.
The automated switching of the battery itself can be done in 20 seconds and the entire swapping service in 1 minute. The new station, located in the Minhang district, kicked off operations late last week.
