China starts Guangxi sodium-ion battery energy storage system
China started operating a sodium-ion battery energy storage station on 11 May in Nanning, Guangxi Province. This is the first phase of a national 100-megawatt-hour level project, with the first-phase loaded capacity at 10 MWh, Kallanish learns.
