China Moly, Gécamines continue dispute amid new TFM control controversy
The dispute between giant China Moly and Congolese state controlled Gécamines seems to be far from over, with controversy sparking once again, Kallanish notes.
The companies are partners in the Tenke Fungurume Mining (TFM) – one of the largest copper and cobalt producing mines in the world. Moly controls the operation with an 80% share, and the DRC mine company owns the remaining 20%.
