China's Evergrande Auto delivers 760 EVs in H1
Chinese automaker Evergrande New Energy Vehicle Group (Evergrande Auto) says it has managed to deliver over 760 units of its battery-electric model Hengchi 5 during the first half of the year.
The sales performance was far behind the target of over 10,000 deliveries announced in the first quarter of 2023. Previously, the company even touted a mid-to-long-term target of 1 million sales in 2025 and 5m sales in 2035.
