CATL to mass produce 3rd-gen Qilin batteries sooner: report
CATL will accelerate mass production and shipment of its third-generation cell-to-pack (CTP) batteries to year-end, instead of 2023 as previously claimed, according to Shanghai-based newspaper The Paper.
The report says the first batch of the products, known as Qilin, will be loaded on Geely’s Zeekr 009, a high-end battery electric sports utility vehicle series in the first quarter of 2023.
