Calpine, GE commission battery storage project in California
US power producer Calpine Corp and partner GE Renewable Energy say they have completed construction on the Santa Ana Storage Project in Southern California, Kallanish reports.
The storage facility is a 20 megawatt/80 megawatt-hour or a four-hour standalone facility now in commercial operation in the community of Santa Ana, California.
