California launches US' first hydrogen hub

California has become the first US state to officially launch a hydrogen hub, estimated at $12.6 billion, Kallanish learns from the state government. The deal was signed by the US Department of Energy (DOE) and the Alliance for Renewable Clean Hydrogen Energy Systems (Arches).
