BYD raises funds for battery production expansion
Chinese manufacturer BYD is conducting a share sale to bolster its expansion plans.
BYD plans to issue 50 million new H shares with a value of CNY 1 ($0.16)/share in the company's registered capital. The placing price of each placing share is HKD 276 ($35.46), which indicates that if all the issued shares are placed, the estimated amount raised is approximately HKD 13.8 billion, and the net financing is HKD 13.75 billion.
