BYD-ADL partnership signs 200 e-bus supply deal in Ireland
Chinese battery and carmaker BYD said its partnership with Alexander Dennis Limited (ADL) has inked a preliminary deal to deliver up to 200 electric buses to the National Transport Authority of Ireland (NTA).
The parties signed a framework agreement covering the supply of battery-electric single deck buses, so-called Enviro200EV. First deliveries are slated for 2022, with an initial firm order of 45 buses, Kallanish learns.
