Bulgaria's hydrogen strategy relies on green energy
Bulgaria has significant potential for the introduction of hydrogen by 2030, according to the country’s hydrogen strategy.
Moderate demand is assumed in transport, but limited in aviation, industry and the construction sector. To meet the expected demand for hydrogen in these and other sectors that now rely on fossil fuels in the country will require 0.6-1.1 gigawatts from green hydrogen, produced by electrolysis.
